August 2016 Reading Wrap-Up
Apparently August was a great audiobook month. I finished more audiobooks than print books. Part of this was because I finished up one early in the month and then two of the books I listened to were novellas and the other two were fairly short. I still managed plenty of print reading too. I ended up with quite a variety in my reading in August.
In the Kingdom of Ice by Hampton Sides (review coming soon)
Murder Buys a T-Shirt by Christy Fifield
Other People’s Baggage by Kendel Lynn, Gigi Pandian and Diane Vallere (review coming soon)
Comics and Graphic Novels
Chew Vol. 6: Space Cakes by John Layman (review coming soon)
Furiously Happy by Jenny Lawson narrated by the author
How to Fight a Dragon’s Fury by Cressida Cowell narrated by Davifd Tennant
The Highwayman by Craig Johnson narrated by George Guidall
Right Ho, Jeeves by P.G.Wodehouse narrated by Jonathan Cecil
Masked Ball at Broxley Manor by Rhys Bowen narrated by Katherine Kellgren (review coming soon)
I have publicly committed to reading the books I already own this year. For my purposes this includes books in all formats that I owned as of January 1, 2016. This means print books on my shelves, ebooks that are in my ebook files, and audiobooks that I have already purchased.
Of the nine books I read this month, four of them were books I owned before January. That’s not a bad ratio as far as I’m concerned.
Hope you had a great reading month in August. What was the best book you read last month?
