It’s Monday What Are You Reading? is a weekly reading roundup is hosted by Kathryn at The Book Date.
This is technically a weekly meme but I don’t read fast enough to make that worthwhile so I post it every two or three weeks.

I’ve read a few of the Miss Marple books and this was my first Hercule Poirot book. It was quite entertaining.
This is the second in a science fiction series of novellas featuring a young girl from Africa who is the first of her family to attend a school in another part of the galaxy.
I’m not rushing to finish the Fables series because I don’t want it to end.

This Dark Road to Mercy was my first book by Wiley Cash and I loved it. I’ve had this one on my shelf for several months and it was time to read it. I’m loving this one too.

Ever since they’ve been releasing these illustrated editions I’ve made a tradition of reading the new one in January.
Finished on Audio
This is one of those books I hesitated to read when it was first released because everyone was talking about it. I’m glad I finally read. I’m glad I went wtih the audio format. The television adaptation will be airing in the US in June. I have already purchased the next two books in the series and I’m looking forward to listening to them before June.
This short (less than two hours) audiobook is a novel in verse. It is a powerful story of the cycle of gun violence and the 15 year old boy who sets out to kill the person who murdered his brother.
